Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
North Bridge Operations Group ("North Bridge", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
We are based in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, and we handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and its ten fair information principles. By using this website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
We only collect personal information that we need to respond to you and run our business. This includes:
- Information you give us directly — when you fill out our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your phone number, the service you're interested in, and any details in your message.
- Information collected automatically — when you visit our website, certain technical information is collected through cookies and analytics tools, such as your approximate location, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at and move through the site. See section 5 on cookies and analytics for details.
2. Why we collect it
We use personal information only for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate, including to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide quotes, availability, and pricing;
- deliver and manage the services you request;
- communicate with you about your project or our work together;
- understand how our website is used so we can improve it; and
- meet our legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
We will not use your information for a new purpose without obtaining your consent, unless required or permitted by law.
3. Consent
By submitting our contact form or emailing us, you consent to our collection and use of your information for the purposes described in this policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting us using the details in section 9. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to provide you with services.
4. How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it only in limited circumstances:
- with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example, website hosting and analytics providers), who are only permitted to use the information to perform services for us;
- with partners or contractors in our network where necessary to deliver a service you've requested, and only as needed for that purpose; and
- where required or authorized by law, such as in response to a valid legal request.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to help us understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to collect standard internet log and visitor behaviour information in an aggregated way. The information collected may include your approximate (city-level) location, browser and device characteristics, the pages you visit, and how long you spend on them.
In Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are anonymized by default and are not stored or logged by Google. The information generated about your use of the website is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers that may be located in the United States or other countries, which means your information may be processed outside of Canada and subject to the laws of those countries. Google processes this data in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can control or refuse cookies in several ways:
- adjust your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies;
- install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to use the core features of this website.
6. How we protect your information
We apply safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information to protect it against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or use. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we take reasonable measures to keep your information safe and limit access to those who need it to do their work.
7. How long we keep it
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely destroy, erase, or anonymize it.
8. Your rights
Subject to certain legal exceptions, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask that it be corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete, and to ask questions about how it is handled. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, and in most cases at no cost to you.
